Carriages Tickenham - North Somerset

Popped for a quick bite , had the Whitebait which was really great , nice salad too , friendly staff . they all seemed happy with singing badly in the kitchen !!nice garden centre , havent tried the carriages as yet but looks good

Very disappointed today. Looking for somewhere for brunch before starting work and remembered Carriages. Was expecting it to be busy, and wasn’t surprised to find that the only tables available were outside. But I wasn’t expecting to wait ten minutes to place an order at...the till, with no one in front of me, to be told that breakfast is only served until (this was with minutes to spare and I had been standing waiting from quarter to) and no other food was able to be ordered until One customer that won’t be back.

Met a friend here for lunch, very busy but the food arrived promptly and was very tasty, a good place for a casual lunch

This restaurant is truly delightful. It has a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, making it easy to find and definitely worth a visit. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by the host, who was attentive and friendly. Despite the busy environment, he made sure to check on us and ensure we had everything we needed. We felt very welcome and well taken care of during our entire visit. The Sunday roast we had was fantastic - fresh, hot, and delicious. We will definitely be returning to this charming café again.

We stopped by this restaurant on our way back from Tynsfield. The waiter was incredibly friendly, helpful, and had a great sense of humor. Although we had originally just planned on getting a drink, we couldn't resist the delicious cakes they had on display. The roast meal looked like a good value for money, but we had already had lunch so we decided to pass on it.
