Carriages Cafe - North Somerset

We booked for a meal. we arrived at 12.50 a.m. after we had booked for 1 a.m., and we said it was sorry for them, but they had no more reddening left, even though we had booked for it. we were offered. other decisions that were more expensive and were in order, but not what we expected. in fact, the meals we had were not a good value for money. the service was slow, and at one point we got drinks that we had not ordered, and the waiter did not even know that we had not made a job for something. when we paid, we were asked if everything had been in order and when we explained how disappointed we were about the lack of food that we had ordered, the attitude of the person who asked was almost bad luck the restaurant itself was cold and it was a cold day not encouraging us to stay long. this is not a place we will visit again, which is a scandal, because the garden center itself is good.

I randomly called to carriages and I was glad that we did. in particular I order the penne pasta dish with pesto sauce, and I must say that it was super prepared and quite substantially. we will visit again in the future. the garden centre itself is also worth a visit as an alternative to cadbury.

A family breakfast for 10 of us arranged on a Saturday morning, as it is often difficult to bring all together at the same time. the staff, the service or the food could not owe. everything came out at the same time and hot and thought that we had a number of vegetarians in our group, the cook and the waiting staff brilliant. thanks and will return when we can all come together again.

For Sunday dinner with the family there were about 18 of us and we couldn't owe anything. the food was perfect and all came exactly at the same time. the personal was very friendly and nothing was a choir. can not fail the food or service; the chef also very friendly and was happy to stop for a chat.

Had lunch here today. Lovely eating area, extremely friendly efficient staff. As for the food, I was blown away by the chicken asparagus pasta and garlic bread. Superb. My friend had an equally amazing homemade rustic chicken pie. Totally recommend a visit… or more !!...Great value. Thank you
