Scott Wilson - North Shields

This was likely the best lunch we've had in a long time. We enjoyed nachos and both the regular and special mac and cheese (which I had), and they were absolutely delicious. The value for the price is excellent. There’s a decent selection of drinks available. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They offer a cocktail deal of 2 cocktails for £10, and the restaurant is equipped with baby changing facilities and high chairs. They also accept American Express.

We ordered from Epp-Esse and I had the chili cheese burger while my partner enjoyed the katsu curry. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend it!

This is a nice bar and grill. The food was truly delicious, and the decor was festive. The only downside was the strong aroma coming from the kitchen, which made our eyes water when we sat near the open flue.

What a Jewel! we came to north shields for two nights to visit my father's birthplace. he was born and raised in shields, but in the 1960s he moved to lancashire. we came a few times a year to see my grandparents, but for years no longer. my parents are now in the 80s and we thought we had a visit to see how much signs have changed. we were in a house queen on alexandra rd, which is literally around the corner of scott and wilson! we went to scott and wilson for two breakfasts and one dinner. the food was phenomenal and the service was fantastic! so friendly and welcoming. the Persian eggs went very well with my father and the pfanncake were a success with the three others on the party. the evening meal was just as delicious, a scott burger and a wilson burger, the Katsu chicken and the sweetskewer were all amazing! Many thanks that they look after us and hopefully we will return at our next visit to north shields!

We have been meaning to try this place for ages, although with work and then lockdown it's been a long time coming. But boy was it worth the wait. Nice comfortable area, lovely decor with very attentive and polite staff. Usual Covid regulations in place and well managed. The food was simply sublime, perfectly cooked, very tasty. The only disappointment that I wasn't allowed all the desserts on one night so I guess we'll be heading back very soon.
