Pink Tequila - North Port

Service was fantastic. The meal was okay, I would give it a C plus. Nothing wrong with it, just not as good as other places.

The pink Tequila and its sister restaurants all have great food. The pineapple tequila restaurant is always really loud, probably due to the tall ceilings, but I visit it often due to its location in relation to our dining companions.

Came in for Dinner this last Saturday late afternoon, 4-ish. We were greated and sat right away. The place was somewhat busy but nothing crazy. The booth we were sat at was all the way in a back corner and was half clean half dirty. The dirty half was grossly dirty, the clean half was soaking wet still from being cleaned. I looked at the menu and was excited to see some items I've never seen before and was looking forward to getting something different. After waiting for no lesss than 5 minutes probably closer to ten, having been passed by and looked at no fewer than a dozen times by 4 or 5 different servers. No one ever came and took drink orders, asked if we had been helped, nothing. We got up and walked out to big smiles and warm wishes and thanks for coming. Really? Now we exist? Went across the street and had some good sushi and hibatchi and left a very nice tip for the excellent service! Too bad we had such a terrible experience. I would have really liked to try some of their menu items.

My favorite mexican place. good salsa, queso. All of the food I have had there has been good.
