What Michael Clark doesn't like about Big Bamboo Asian Fusion:
I went for lunch and found the interior to be very dark with no natural light. The egg roll filling lacked texture, the dipping sauce was overly sweet, and the wonton soup was bland. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent. I'll be back again and again. Thank you
Really enjoyed the Bourbon chicken and the Pineapple fried rice. Been eating out pretty much everyday for a month since arriving here in Port Charlotte and this has been best place by far.
Big Bamboo offers a wide variety of Asian dishes Thai, Chinese, Japanese in a chic atmosphere. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Our server was friendly and efficient, and the food was tasty.Be sure to bring a hearty appetite.
I liked it! Everything was delicious! Restaurant is clean and staff is friendly. Our server Leo was excellent!
Oh Big Bamboo, what has happened? You used to be my favorite spot for Thai food, but after my meal on Sunday night, I'm starting to reconsider. Have you hired a new chef? New owners? Are you cutting corners? My Szechuan chicken had no spice and no taste. The egg rolls were bland, and the server was not friendly - just going through the motions. The crispy noodles and sweet sauce on the table were good, but overall, it was a disappointing experience. It's a shame, Big Bamboo.
