This place was referred to me by the employees from the Hampton InnI must agree that this place was super impressive. Authentic, flavorful, great staff, reasonable price. No waiting.I highly recommend this place for any one looking for authentic Mexican food. They guy recommended the 3 amigos plate which had, steak, chicken, shrimp, rice and beans and a cheese enchilada. Super delicious View all feedback.
What 1000 Angels Feeding Zoe doesn't like about La Hacienda:
The worst tortilla soup ever tasted like watered down tomato juice and nothing but soggy tortilla strips. I only ate a few swallows before putting it back in the container and throwing it in the trash. Is there anywhere in North Platte to get a decent tortilla soup or were we just spoiled by El'Varte?PS Tasteless and the lime dry couldn't get any lime juice out of it at all but at least it wasn't awful and only half... Delicious food great service and great prices. The chips and homemade salsa are also amazing
There were hardly any tables filled when my wife and I came in around 7 pm or so. The server took our order and brought out our food and never came back at all. Instead he played on his phone and paced around like he was busy. This has happened here before. I thought it was a fluke, but I was wrong. There’s half a dozen other Mexican food places in town, pick a different one. Guarantee you’ll get better service elsewhere.
Used to be the absolute best place for really good Mexican food. Recently it’s dropped off so bad. Orders are consistently wrong, quality isn’t that great, service is poor. Most recent trip, we ordered something small, it was dropped off and we never saw anyone again. No drinks, chips, etc. went up to leave and ended up getting charged multiple times. Waiting for it to come off my statement. Used to love this place, now it’s just terrible
Strip mall location and interior does not support good atmosphere. Skirt steak was very tough. Overall, it was an ok place recommended by my motel.
Had to ask for refills...no follow up service after receiving
