Colossal - North Olmsted

I needed 2 cupcakes. The website stated they offer a variety of cupcakes all day long. When I stopped in, there were only red velvet. The girl, who did not have good customer service, said more cupcakes would be there “within the hour”. I walked there so I stayed. She sat on her phone while the other girl did all the work. Not impressed.

Every time we go the ice cream machine is always down. Why advertise that you have ice cream and make cupcake shakes if the machine never works. The lady told us today that they were out of ice cream.

Was treated with nothing but kindness from the second I walked in. The lady at the counter was very patient while we took a minute to look at our options. The presentation in this location was beautiful and the cupcakes were very beautifully done. I personally feel that this location is significantly better than the one in downtown. I will DEFINITELY be returning to this location in the future. The quality of the cupcakes alone were enough to make this location better than downtown. Thank you all again!

Called about a month ago to let them know one of their cupcakes that I purchased the day before was already molded. I saw white spores inside right before I took a bite! Spoke to the manager who gave a couple of excuses as to why that would be (maybe didn’t cool down completely, etc) but assured me that’s never happened before. Well I told her I saw another review on here that stated another customer found mold. She said “well I haven’t seen the reviews.” How have you not read the reviews as a manager??!!! Anyway, she took down my address to send me a coupon or reimbursement. It’s a whole month later and nothing ever arrived. With the price tag on these cupcakes, this shouldn’t happen. Perhaps the inventory should be cut down if cupcakes are sitting in that display case longer than they should.

Place is cute and service was great but the cupcakes themselves were dry with way too much frosting. For $6.50 a cupcake my hopes were high. Very disappointing.
