Tuesday night with Abbey behind the bar was wonderful!! She has such a good attitude, beautiful smile, and is a motivated BW employee. She takes pride being behind the bar and it shows in her service!! We had our usual Xmas Ale, Pinot Grigio, and French dip but had an above average experience while Abbey provided prompt service, menu recommendations, and made sure we had clean glassware. What Rachel Kirschling doesn't like about Burntwood Tavern:
Burger was closer to a $10 value than $15 maybe the house pickles (which?re more like straight cucumbers) makes it more? ?Do you have Cheddar? ?Yeah.? I guess American and Cheddar are the same? Wouldn?t get the burger again. Either way, mashed potatoes are meh and are definitely smashed, skin on potatoes. On a more positive note, the atmosphere, architecture and decor are rustic and rich. My mom, son, and I went here today for the first time and had AMAZING service by Shelby. She was so welcoming, and acclimated us to the place so we knew what to order. And we were NOT disappointed. We can?t wait to come back.
I was disappointed in the overall experience. I have been to several other Burntwood Taverns and have usually rated them all 5 stars. My salmon was dry and bland and the broccolini was undercooked and cold. Another in my party said their steak was tough and their asparagus was undercooked and tough. Another person said the mahi was tough and overcooked. However, one person loved their salmon salad and the other person enjoyed their trout entree. The music was turned up
In general I like the Burntwood Tavern chain. We tried the North Olmsted location to host a family birthday party. They seated us in the Harvest Room, reserved in advance and everyone loved it. Everyone raved about their meals. The cocktails we really good, too. Julianna was our server and handled our large group effortlessly. While the North Olmsted location has more of a rustic vibe than its nearby brethren in Crocker or Rocky River, the North Olmsted location is
Not any surprise at all. I?ve heard about that place and it is an excellent restaurant! The food is a little bit pricy but worth every dollar. The staff, management and servers five stars! Will certainly be back!
