Proper cafe serving decent food at the right price. Owners very friendly and helpful, good for breakfast and snacks, teas and coffees. Popular with the locals so always a good sign. Much better than the numerous chain coffee bars etc View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Larder:
no vegan options on menu. asked workers if they had something that ignored me, but at some point said no. actually the most intimidating pub in which I was for years View all feedback.
Really friendly welcome we were on our way to the coast after a long journey and wanted a snack and drink so stopped off in Fakenham. This was the perfect place and they were very flexible as lots of places start winding down service in the late afternoon.
Visited this lovely traditional café on a Monday in June. The service was great and quick too, though they were not busy. I had the full English breakfast which was excellent one of the very best you will get anywhere, especially at such a reasonable price. My partner had the quiche with chips special, which she really enjoyed. Recommended if you like a traditional English café. Dogs are very welcome here. 5 stars!
Extremely hospitable, experienced staff, 5/5 affordable and varied menu.
Visited for lunch whilst on a weekend away from Lincoln, food excellent, staff excellent, made to feel very welcome.
Really lovely spot, friendly owners greeting and conversation. They have a lot of regulars that come in which is nice to know. We had eggs on toast and egg and bacon sandwich which were both brill. Would definitely go back
