4 of us came for the set menu on Valentine 's night. As far as I was concerned everything was absolutely super. The food was delicious, the service impeccable and the atmosphere just right. I don 't know what 'cuddles1108 ' below expected, French onion sellers on bicycles, perhaps! Regional French dishes belong in Regional France a Cassoulet belongs in Toulouse rather than Normandy and not West Runton. Tho ' I speak French I do not want French menus with English translations, pretentious.
What Alfa NG doesn't like about The Pepperpot:
Very traditional establishment, neither in a good or bad way. I do remember going to these places with my parents the food was good, fresh and home cooked, so in summary i would rather have that than some microwave meal in a hip and trendy place! View all feedback.
We are still being cautious around COVID so very pleased to find the Pepperpot was doing a takeaway service. We had the lamb shank which was delicious with good sized portions and fresh vegetables. We had panacotta with raspberries that was also very tasty. The hot food came well packaged in foil containers and stayed piping hot. Will be going back for more.
We have been regular visitors to the Pepperpot in the past and have just experienced our first takeaway from them. This was excellent- the food was piping hot and up to their usual high standard. Looking forward to our next takeaway from there.
An excellent restaurant, being Italian I appreciate good food and Antoine is a very good chef. He never lets you down.
