After living in Mundesley for months, we finally ventured out for breakfast. The staff was very attentive and the food was freshly cooked and delicious. We also enjoyed a coffee and a cup of tea each. The only downside was the hard butter that tore the toast. Despite this, we plan to visit again soon. I believe offering a discount to local residents would attract more customers from the area. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Corner House:
two of us ordered a bark and horse stable sandwich from the special board and the third person ordered pancakes with syrup. sandwiches were made from cut brot, with margarine (not butter) and very healthy puppies of meerrettich! small partial salad from fresh ingredients and...we have been offered a selection of salad dresses. the pancakes were good except for a crunchy edge. softdrinks were served with blunt plastic... Lovely friendly cafe with very good Covid measures in place. Had lunch here and afternoon coffee and cake. Good menu choices and attentive staff.
A nice seaside cafe in the Norfolk town of Mundesley. We ate breakfast here with friends on a Saturday morning and I went for the Large Breakfast which came with a drink, scrambled eggs, rashers of bacon, grilled tomato, baked beans, sausages and slices of toast. The cost of this was and for an extra I added mushrooms to it as well. Whilst the breakfast was nice (especially the quality bacon cooked just perfectly) there were a couple of things that could have made it much better and would have gained my visit a Very Good rating. Firstly the only option was to have scrambled eggs or boiled eggs... Now I've eating hundreds of English Breakfasts in my time in Hotel's, B&B's, service stations and Cafes and this is the first time ever that having a fried or poached egg was not an option. Secondly the sausages were of average quality, a good butchers sausage, (maybe from the local village butcher around the corner), would have made a big difference to the processed sausages that were served with the breakfast. Otherwise the service was good and the ambiance of the cafe was very relaxing with the huge windows looking out onto the village of Mundesley. I would eat here again but I do think the simple changes I suggest would have made my breakfast that much better.

We often drive along the coast on sunny days, like today, and stumbled upon this bustling little restaurant. They offer a diverse menu with options like breakfast, paninis, focaccias, sandwiches, and more. We tried the fish finger sandwiches with a side of fresh salad and found them to be excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be returning.
We were on holiday in the village and popped in to have some lunch was surprised that chips weren't on the menu but that said we all found something to suit. The food came quickly and was very good portion sizes were good and the...staff were friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in the village.
