Diners rave about the generous portions and quality of the food, particularly the Sunday roasts, while the attentive staff adds to the warm experience. Although some guests have encountered occasional issues with frozen items and disruptive entertainment, most agree the pub delivers a memorable dining experience. From captivating burgers to perfectly cooked steaks, it has become a go-to spot for both locals and visitors. With a commitment to improvement, this hidden gem is worth a visit while exploring the area.
Some staff are really nice emma, McKenzie Shery, big daisy and lily are hard workers and really polite an asset to the pub. Nice location
Been here every time we visit my parents in Potter Heigham . How I have seen this place change from a run down pub with no modernisation ever spent on it to the most inviting pub you can ever visit. From the moment you walk we feel welcome like a family member the owner always got a welcoming smile and always has time to talk and make you feel welcome. No other pub has this welcoming feel. We had an amazing Sunday Roast and what can I say apart from amazing. Visited again on Monday to an amazing perfectly cooked rare steak. Overall a must visit pub in the broads. Thank you Costa and staff for an amazing experience
Called in whilst boating on the Broads. What can I say? Menu was extensive, staff pleasant, food arrived quickly. We were enjoying a family Sunday lunch when what must be the resident entertainer decided to start crooning. To the point we couldn’t hear ourselves talk. He finally shut up but got annoyed when no one clapped. Sunday lunchtime is not the time to have some rude, jaded entertainment.
I went to this restaurant on a Sunday to have a roast dinner and I was not let down. The overall experience was lovely and the food portions were large and delicious. I will definitely be returning!
We ordered a selection from the menu, including a fish platter and mozzarella sticks, but were disappointed when the dishes arrived. The food did not seem to be locally sourced or homemade, but rather appeared to be processed, frozen items that were simply deep fried. We found most of the dishes to be inedible and overpriced, with the exception of the salad. After finishing our drinks, we paid and left, feeling let down by the experience. While we always try to support local businesses, we were expecting better quality food based on the restaurant's description. We are unsure if we just made poor menu choices, if it was an off night for the restaurant, or if this is the usual standard. The website also seemed to be incomplete in some areas, such as the menu section. Despite reading some positive reviews, our own experience did not live up to our expectations. We hope that this was just an isolated incident and wish the restaurant the best of luck in the future.
