Located in a lovely village, the cozy atmosphere, open fire, and great selection of beer made for a wonderful experience.

Friendly place with a good atmosphere, but evening meals only served between 6 and 7pm. Could live with this but unfortunately the food we ate was disappointing... read more Friendly place with a good atmosphere, but evening meals only served between 6 and 7pm. Could live with this but unfortunately the food we ate was disappointing: dry pie, not much filling, weird 'gravy ' (was a clear sauce), a few chips and peas £14ish: the cost of the meal was too high for what it was unfortunately.

Good basic pub not too far from the Old Brick Kilns campsite.
