First time and not the last time. Cute atmosphere for brunch and the blueberry hushpupies live up to the hype. A must try on the menu. I had the smoked salmon Benedict and it was delicious with huge portion. The spicy Mary had the right amount of heat forme and went down way too smooth. A great meal, Ashley the server/bartender was terrific. Would highly recommend but be preparedto wait for a table. I was able to gra... View all feedback.
This restaurant truly pays attention to detail and uses high-quality ingredients in everything they prepare. It was probably the best breakfast experience I've ever had. The atmosphere is lively, so we chose to sit at the bar and enjoy the sights and sounds around us. Some of the dishes are quite sweet and indulgent, but it seems that's what people are after. The egg dishes, including omelets, sausages, and eggs Benedict, are outstanding! The service is excellent as well!
Monte Crisco was fantastic! The café mocha was hot and delicious, and the freshly squeezed orange juice paired with champagne from Hahn makes the mimosas the best on the Strand! The bartenders may be busy, but they sure know how to get the job done!
This breakfast spot is nice but definitely caters to tourists, leading to long wait times and not being particularly family-friendly. The menu offers some intriguing options, but the prices are quite steep. My friends and I found it very warm inside, and we desperately needed some water. One friend ordered a virgin drink but couldn't enjoy it because it was far too spicy for her. I tried the crab benedict, which featured a heavily baked crab cake and an egg that lacked flavor. While all our breakfasts were decent, they didn't justify the high prices. There are plenty of sugary dishes reminiscent of butterfly motifs, but many pancake houses along 17 offer similar breakfasts for less than half the price of this place.
Cool place with good vibes and fresh industrial decor. the inside seats were well spaced and comfortable for eating and talking. they also offer seating in the open. the welcoming and hostess was friendly and efficient! for the first time the guests have to ask about the “Check in system” with an app. a little confusing process for those who are less technology. I loved the unique menu with noodles of choice for those with adventurous taste buds! I couldn't wait to try her "signature blueberry vinaigrette" on my salat. I was surprised that it lacked taste, and I could not appreciate a “?” taste. a delicious salad. on the main course, a sweet and spicy chicken sandwich! it has been for a great appetit, with the bungalow and presentation itself a total showtopper. ? the “Laze” was rather a “Pour” than the huh was soaked in the sauce. it looked, and I was eager to come into this joyful. I love sweet chili rubs and season, and normally eat food with something flair. when I bited in my first bite, I was with?, but I was the most? that it was no sweet! the heat of the Cholula hot sauce had to reach me quickly on my ice water and check the menu twice, the feeling as if I had read the description wrong. since the chicken was soaked in sauce and not glazed as the title indicated, I could not appreciate the delicious looking bun. my waitress was attentive and offered a change, but at this point my friend approached the end of her meal and my taste buds needed a break. I salvated that huh later in the night by removing the majority of broth that softens in sauce, and enjoying a damp chicken breast as my dinner! I didn't sing the blues anymore!
I got here with my family right when they opened at 7, which worked out great because we were seated right away and the restaurant filled up quickly. This is a large restaurant with lots of seating and an overall trendy space. We really liked all the different color coffee cups. For breakfast, we had the Dublin omelet, Carolinian omelet, and sweet potato pancakes. The omelets were fantastic, and the sweet potato pancakes were especially good. There was something for everyone on the menu, including healthier options. I would recommend this spot to anyone in town.
