What User doesn't like about I Stronga:
I really don’t like giving not so good reviews unless I feel it’s necessary. I ate here when it was with the old owners and everything was A1. I paid $21.40 for one meal (no choices) and a juice. I wasn’t happy about that for take out but I was good. What set me off was my food was bland and piled in a cheap cardboard like container that got soggy immediately and collapsed in my car. I inquired about the spice level and was told it was not spicy. I ordered rice with cabbage, potatoes with lentils and beans, and a protein ball. However, the protein ball turned out to be extremely spicy - much to my surprise. Although everything tasted good, the protein ball was quite filling.
Every time I visit Miami, I enjoy clean and healthy dining at I Stronga. In addition, I always learn more about Rastafarian culture from the friendly staff who run the restaurant.
I will definitely be back to this restaurant. The portions of food are generous enough to share between two people, and the presentation of the dishes is exquisite.
Food was alright but the staff didn’t seem to know what was going on. Cashier had me count out my own change after he did it 3 times…
