Griot 305 - North Miami

Staff is very welcoming and polite, the premises are clean. Food taste great I had a ?Griot? dish and it was delicious. I definitely recommend anyone to stop by if you?re in the mood of Caribbean Cuisine in North Miami Beach. Will definitely go back.

I felt welcomed by the ownership, and everyone was polite enough. I ordered fried turkey, and to be honest, I'm not sure if what I received was fried turkey or not. It didn't taste bad, but I can't say that it tasted like turkey. The bones were bigger than what I believe turkey bones should be too. I think they gave me fried goat, if I had to guess. That's the main reason for the missing star. Otherwise, all was fine.

Other than their fear of maskless customers, my pick up order of griot, rice and beans, tostones, and salad was very good. The added scotch bonnet sauce was a real treat. Good food and value.

The food was good but it wasn't hot so that deducts points from me. The owner was very friendly and helpful

I called in advance to ask some info. The guy answered the phone on time and was very pleasant. The servers were all very pleasant. The food was delicious, I even have left overs. I ordered the diri blanc, sauce pois and legume; it came with fried plantains (hot and crispy). Next time, I plan on ordering the fish. It smelled so good and the customer that I saw ordering it told me that the fish was his favorite menu item. Overall 10/10 would recommend.
