New China King - North Merrick

I used to order from this place all the time when the previous owners were running it, but the quality of the food has really declined. I decided to give it another shot and ordered chicken wings the other day since "Asian Garden," the place I usually go to on Tuesdays, was closed. Unfortunately, the wings were extremely oily and greasy, and the fried rice had no flavor whatsoever. It’s also quite expensive—I paid 80 for this meal. I might try it one more time to see if it improves, but I'm not very hopeful.

The restaurant has new owners, and the food is fantastic! I highly recommend the chicken wings and the boneless ribs; I absolutely love the BBQ sauce on the ribs.

The Chinese food at this restaurant was excellent, although it was a bit pricey and the service could be improved. However, the quality of the food was spot on.

Not bad at all. My first time eating here. I did go on a Friday, not sure if that makes a difference. Pork lo mein, Fried rice $1 broccoli and boneless ribs with egg roll. $18

I used to go there quite a bit before the pandemic, the food was good, but today was a total disappointment! The steamed dumplings were too doughy with very little filling, the shrimp roll, likewise lacked filling and crispiness, and there was one less chicken wing than advertised. I think I have to find another Chinese take out place.
