Mankato Brewery - North Mankato

I love this place. A big local meeting, it seems to be a lot of different masses, but as an experienced professional, I think that is a great place for happy hour or again with friends. Not too loud, you can actually have a conversation. The beer is really good and there is a beautiful variety. I love the atmosphere both inside and outside on a beautiful day.

Beer was very moderate. We were really excited to go here, but then it was a break. The parking is terrible and they need to find a better real estate management company to ensure that it is salted and safe for cartridges. We visited my son in college and when he came out of the truck, he fell on his back as his feet out of him on the ice rink of a parking lot. We had to crawl near the front door, it was so slippery and uncertain. The fruity sours were quite tasteless. There was a Blueberry flavor beer that was decent. The Hvac system aggressively blows cold air through the cockroom. I had to give my wife my coat and then I was cold about it. We had to go after that because it was not enjoyable to sit there and drink beer in our jackets and stockings while inside. We will try again and hope that we will capture the place on a free day.

You have many great beers on the tap. A free brewery tour on Saturday too.

Have fun. I felt like home. Open concept sessions in full view of the operation. Residential and a small arcade above the bar area.

We have been coming here for many years and truly enjoy this place. It's a casual vibe with a great selection of beers that is always changing. For basic beer fans, the Kato Lager is a good choice. We also like the Cross Czech Pils (seasonal), Rhuby Sour and Organ Grinder. Mankato Brewery is also community-minded and have limited-run brews that benefit local nonprofits as well as host events that give back. Their outdoor space is dog-friendly and occasionally has food trucks. Even though they don't serve their own food, patrons can bring their own or order in.
