Casa Mexicana - North Little Rock

My boyfriend liked his pork burrito. My first pick was the enchiladas but was served with a hair. The ground beef and beans had no flavor. Then I got chicken tacos which came out cold, cheese wasn’t melted, and chicken was cold. And the rice was bland. And the pork tamale tasted microwaved. The chips and salsa were just okay.

I got my drink order taken right away. Then I sat there for another 20 minutes without anyone taking my order. Only one other customer in the restaurant. I ask a waitress if someone would take my order. She basically ignored me. 10 minutes later I paid for my drink and went to another restaurant. When I left three employees were sitting at a table rolling silverware. I told them why I was leaving. They could not have cared less.

Food was half the portion of any other Mexican restaurant I go to and cost more. Food was good, service wasn't that great server came by 2x in the hour we were there, we had to ask for more chips and drinks, and in that hour 15 plus minutes was spent waiting on them to bring us our check to pay.

Food portions were half of any other Mexican restaurant I 've ever had, although it was good. Additionally, they only filled the salsa bowl half way. I sat at the bar and if you aren 't Hispanic or a regular don 't expect good service from the young lady working. I gave it two stars because the portion was tasty, but I won 't return.

Good food and good service. Recently went for a work lunch, so a decent sized group. They got our drinks and food out promptly and it were sure we had all that we needed. Always so yummy, too!
