This is a charming pub with truly delicious burgers. I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well!

This traditional pub is situated along the banks of the River Trent and boasts excellent outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying the scenic river views and tranquil countryside. It's a dog-friendly venue, creating a lovely atmosphere for pet owners. Joe, the manager, is outstanding and truly enhances the experience, making it a fantastic place to visit. Unfortunately, they only serve Sunday lunch once a month, but it's exceptional and absolutely worth the wait. We typically make a reservation in advance since it's always packed. If you're in the area, this pub is definitely worth a visit, and the local patrons are a friendly group too.

The beer was well maintained, but I didn't eat since I was on my way home. There are nice picnic tables by the river. Price per person: £1–10; Service: 4/5; Atmosphere: 5/5.

This pub is unique, in so far as it has its own brewery. It serves fabulous home cooked food. The menu is small which is great, as the chef can concentrate on making a small selection of dishes fabulous. Sunday lunch is fabulous. The taste of the food is unbelievable. If you want a rural, no frills pub, with friendly staff, a warm welcome, great food and a great pint this is a place for you. If you want fancy surroundings and plush decor maybe give it a swerve.
