The most authentic Korean cuisine in the state of Rhode Island! The chef previously worked at a five-star hotel in Seoul.
The kimchi stew was very flavorful, but it could have used more meat. The bulgogi bibimbap was on the wet side, likely because the rice wasn't drained properly, and it was quite bland. It was also served cold, but I was fortunate to have ordered the stone pot, which helped heat it up after mixing. The chicken gyoza was just average. On the plus side, the presentation and service were good.
This was our first experience with Korean cuisine, and we absolutely loved it. The portions were generous, and the presentation was really appealing. We will definitely come back!
The tofu soup was both tasty and satisfying. I also enjoyed the kimchi trio and had brown rice green tea.
I had an amazing experience with the Dumpling Soup at Bapsang. I requested soy sauce since it wasn’t available on the tables, and they brought out a delicious, homemade soy sauce from the kitchen that was far better than the typical packets. It truly enhanced the soup's flavor. The sweet and spicy fried chicken wings were equally delicious. The restaurant is cozy, featuring around eight tables, and the service was attentive, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
