We booked a table on line and chose this restaurant as there was a play area for our 2 year old granddaughter. She had a wonderful time, we were served by an excellent waitress known as Lauren E, she was very attentive to our grandchild. The food was very good, the only problem, which is hardly anything. The cauliflower cheese, from the carvery, could have had more cheese. Although my macaroni cheese was excellent. W... View all feedback.
What Skevsue doesn't like about Pride Of Lincoln:
We stopped by this restaurant on our way back from Market Rasen for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The dining area is spacious, the menu is extensive with a delicious carvery, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place. View all feedback.
The food was ok! Toilets need a good clean disabled toilet was filthy floors bins etc. chairs and tables in front garden strewn all over looks a little untidy
Great food quick service and very friendly staff. Would visit again when next in Lincoln. Diane was great
Came for breakfast with our family who were visiting.. Very understaffed 1 on bar, 1 in kitchen and 2 on the floor, we felt so sorry for them, it was busy and you could see how much pressure was on them.. But the staff that was there could not do enough for you, always smiling and polite (especially dianne and a brunette lovelyyoung lady on the bar) the food was lovely (except the frozen hash browns lol) very well done to the team working so well under pressure and keeping the service 100
We stopped on our way to Lincoln at a lively restaurant that offered a carvery along with pub grub. The carvery had options of Turkey, gammon, or beef, along with an array of vegetables. We opted for the turkey, but were disappointed as it appeared more boiled than roasted, with blood coming out when carved. The beef we tried was decent but lacked flavor. Despite this, we felt that the two meals and drinks for about £20 was a fair price for the selection available.
Having been here for the last two years for Turkey Tinsel, which was fantastic value for money highly enjoyable, it was obvious the family were going to choose to attend again this year. It’s thanks to Diane, whom we met whilst dining here at the end of the summer 2021, when she informed us of the upcoming festive arrangements. We booked there then. One of our quite large extended family arranged booked it for all three Tuesdays in December. Meeting up here is a great way for many of the family to catch up celebrate Christmas in style. The staff are always friendly welcome you with beaming smiles. Once seated drinks fetched there is time for a good catch up food starts to arrive approximately 1.00pm. We had all ordered beforehand so the whole process is slick efficient. The meals are well presented, hot tasty…certainly excellent value for money. Most have the traditional Turkey dinner although there are alternative options on offer, starters dessert are included. The entertainment was great each week with a different singer soon the dance floor is full of folk enjoying the Christmas atmosphere. Each week became busier the only minor complaint was the lack of parsnips yesterday as they are a family favourite! We, as a family, would not hesitate to recommend these events to anyone who likes a good value meal entertainment at Christmas can only thank Diane for initially pointing them out to us. The staff are a hardworking, friendly team who deserve credit for their commitment to providing a great service to a very large appreciative clientele with a smile! Thank you all at Windmill Farm we wish you a very Merry Christmas Happy New Year….we will return soon but look forward to Turkey Tinsel 2024!
