We haven't eaten here for a couple of years, as we always found it overrated overpriced previously, but gave it another chance as Sleaford town was so busy this morning. The lady (Clariza? taking our order at the till was so welcoming, pleasant and helpful if she's not a permanent member of staff, she really needs to be! Called in today to buy a Christmas tree and decided to stop for lunch,we easily found a table as wasn't too busy at around 1pm,saw they were doing a Christmas dinner so myself and my husband opted for it.waited about 15 minutes and was served our food,we were pleasantly surprised as it was all home made, nothing on it was frozen or out of a bag,the meal was delicious we thoroughly enjoyed it,I thanked the waiting staff as we were leaving to compliment the kitchen staff.
Great breakfast and service excellent, food good value as well. However…..£3.69 for ‘tea for two’ one cup each and one tea bag! Takes the shine off the visit completely.
Waited over an hour for toasted sandwich and cake. Don’t mind waiting for good food but that was to long. Not enough staff on and the food was mediocre.
Met friends here for lunch as it was halfway for both of us, really enjoyed the food served by friendly and efficient staff, excellent value for money
