I ha... read more I've had many issues with staff not fulfilling my order in the past and that has put me off using them which is a shame because the food is generally good. I have never felt the need to put in a negative review partly because the work force are predominantly kids and we were all once kids and had to learn right? This week I placed my order, paid for the food and waited for my change, the young lad totally forgot to give me my change and was very apologetic when I asked for it. when I returned home with my order it was not all there! I called Fillets and the lady on the phone advised me that I hadn't paid for one portion of the chips and that the order must have been taken down incorrectly. I asked that she have a chat with staff to be more careful when taking orders to which she responded, next time I should repeat the order twice to ensure that it was correct......... umm not quite the response I was expecting, for that reason alone I wont be returning to Filets again.

The haddock looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours, it was tasteless, and even though I ordered a small portion, it was the thinnest fish I've ever had. I also ordered a cheeseburger and I regretted it. It was bland and rubbery. I guess it's a lesson learned.

First th... read more I came to Fillets Sleaford today to grab dinner on the way from work. I’ve been using Fillets for years and have never had any complaints, until today! First thing that put me off was having to witness, I’m guessing the manager, discipline a staff member behind the counter in front of customers, I was unsure if my order had been fulfilled correctly as there was quite a few staff members behind the counter doing parts of everyone’s orders unfortunately this was confirmed when I arrived home and some of my order was missing. I also get prices are going up across the board but I didn’t realise that this also entailed cutting back on portion sizes. The large fish and chips, which my daughters normally share, was the size of the the old regular size, the regular fish and chips was more like a fish finger shape and for some reason came without the chips. Taste was still up to standard and we did all enjoy our food Im just unsure if it will be my regular haunt in future
