Our first time at the gamekeeper after an excited lincoln Christmas market attempt. last minute booking of the beautiful liam. good table for our friends and I. faster service. very good value and delicious food. mistakes quickly corrected by fab personal. elle and her long haired colleague were amazing. liam and his friend with the bart let us be very welcome. many thanks for an unexpectedly good evening!
Nice food, better than most pub grub we've experienced recently. Good service and pleasant staff. Definitely visit again.
Stopped here for a bit of lunch and a break from our journey with a baby, this seemed like the perfect option as it had soft play for our 10 month old to play in. Greeted by Kelsey, she was very attentive and great with our baby. Kelsey was cleaning and interacting with us throughout our entire time here. About halfway through though we witnessed a very unpleasant interaction with who I assumed was her manager. Mid way us eating he came into the the room, handed Kelsey a piece of paper and was very passive aggressive with her stating that she had a bad review and ‘you are always just sat on your ass doing nothing on your phone’. This wasn’t what we had experienced with Kelsey and found this extremely unprofessional! We felt incredibly awkward, it felt as if he wanted to embarrass her infront of customers. Bad management skills, if you have a problem with a member or staff, take the usual route and arrange a meeting to discuss it! Would have been a 5* if this interaction hadn’t happened as we had a great time otherwise.
Went out for lunch with friends and had to wait 45 minutes for our food. The condition of the bathrooms was very unsatisfactory, with a door that wouldn't lock, a toilet paper dispenser that was blocked, and a loose toilet seat.
