The restaurant serves delicious, fresh home-cooked food that is both tasty and hot. The two female servers were polite and friendly, and checked in halfway through the meal to ensure everything was satisfactory. The staff greeted us with smiles, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the pub is dog-friendly, which is a nice touch. Although we didn't bring our dog on this visit, we plan to in the future. Overa... View all feedback. Oh dear what a shame! Had a meal here recently but won 't be returning. No chef but landlord in kitchen re heating food purchased from Booker 's cash and carry. read moreThe Italian theme night at this restaurant was a disappointment with bland food and lackluster service. However, the community-owned pub has made strides in improving the quality of their food and atmosphere. Homemade pies are a standout dish. The new menus offer fresh and well-prepared food at reasonable prices. While still a work in progress, the pub is worth a visit for a meal or a drink. Overall, a mix of highs and lows at this establishment, with potential for improvement in the future.
