The Fox is a lovely little local village pub. Good beer selection although average wine. Basic pub food. Landlords are very welcoming and there is a bouncy castle in the beer garden!

Lovely drive in the sun, ended up in this lovely village and lovely pub Friendly staff, well maintained garden, water bowls and taps for the dogs, just what we needed. Really honest staff as well, man left wallet in bar and they bought it right out to him, great to see this

Lovely little Surprise, Sunday lunch for 4.We booked, recommended, you will not get a table if you do not book .FULL. Very cosy, friendly staff, friendly locals. Walking in a new place this is most welcome. Shown to our table, given menus by a confident waitress. Ordered our drinks and starters. service very good , then ordered our lunch they only serve a Roast on Sundays) but you will have a good choice. I had Beef which was served Hot,fresh, and the vegetables were seasonable. The meals were very good. every enjoyed theirs. On the whole this is a lovely little hidden gem, if you like small friendly and cosy. We did, and bring your Dog as they are most welcome .

The Fox provided an excellent range of straightforward and well prepared sandwiches etc. for a family wake. Helpful staff and good service. Many thanks.
