Wow, that was a fantastic breakfast! I really enjoyed it. You just can't go wrong with biscuits and gravy, and that was only part of my meal. I had two eggs, three strips of crispy bacon, and hash browns, all served with a biscuit swimming in gravy—exactly how I would make it myself! This breakfast was the highlight of my entire week at Fort Myers Beach. Our waitress, Sandy, was delightful and attentive, checking in... View all feedback.
What Crystal Staggs doesn't like about Sunflower Cafe:
Food was good. Great variety on menu. Servers and hostesses were very friendly. The building itself was a little dingy but could just be from left over hurricane damage. Don't let that stop you the friendly atmosphere and good food make up for it View all feedback.
All day breakfast, great value, good portions, convenient and close to the highway. Our server was friendly and helpful. We were happy with our food and portions. For the French toast, it was just a normal thinly sliced bread. The skillet was delicious, loved that it came with two eggs too. Biscuits were on the dry side, but the gravy had a nice peppery kick to it. Side of toast was a bit burnt but not too bad. Note that they did not practice social distancing here. They sat parties right next to each other with no spacing of empty tables in between, even though there were available tables/booths. Just keep that in mind if that is something of concern to your party. Overall, this is a well established local spot. Would recommend. Instagram: @thenomadicfoodie YouTube: The Nomadic Foodie
Great egg breakfast. Grits like my Mom's. Fresh local tomato sliced as a side was great.
The Sunflower Cafe is a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Chicken Parmesan over Cappelini is excellent. They offered a complimentary glass of house wine with our dinner which I thought was very gracious. They even sample you out a dessert after your dinner. The mint chocolate chip is perfect! Thanks Sunflower Cafe !
Long time customers for many years and have moved from the area. SUNFLOWERS is a must go to place when we 're anywhere nearby. We love this restaurant from the friendly kind owners to our beautiful waitress Victoria. Thank you for sharing your smile and your help with our order. Definitely a 5 stars for Victoria. I hope that the owners appreciate you and treat you well, you are an asset to SUNFLOWERS. Thank you for a pleasant meal and chats when we had the time. We 'll be back as soon as possible. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Personal all time favorite place to dine. five stars. Not a fine dining 5 stars. FIVE STARS, I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT AND FOOD AND DAILY SPECIALS.
Absolutely pretty little diner (not too little, seats quite a few but has a cozy small town feel). We ate breakfast on a number of occasions here while vacationing in the area. The food is fresh and delicious. The service is extraordinarily prompt and we’ve never had to wait to be seated. Try the eggs benedict, served with a lemony fresh hollandaise, soft toasted English muffin with thick sliced country ham. The hash browns were additionally delightful and the whole meal served with a fluffy pancake left us wanting to come back later to see what the lunch menu had in store. My husband had the breakfast special with eggs, biscuits and gravy. He chose the thick sliced country ham to accompany. Everything was incredibly amazing. Morning drink specials are also definitely not to be missed. Make this splendid country diner a must visit on your trip list when in the area.
