The Freeport offers typical restaurant food that would normally not stand out except the amazing homemade sausage (hot, sweet, or land), ham and bacon. All are cured or smoked on the grounds and are best tasted in the Freeport breakfast. It is one of the best breakfasts in the area and is worth the ride to the northeast. You can also buy the sausage, ham or bacon to take home at very reasonable prices. Look at the freeport when you're near Erie.

This restaurant embodies the essence of middle-class dining. It's truly a gem for anyone seeking a cozy and friendly atmosphere. And let’s talk about the food! Everything I've tried has been fantastic, but the yellow pike or perch stands out as a highlight. They also create homemade sausage, which is simply delicious. The prices are affordable, and the ambiance is lovely, featuring a charming lighthouse as part of the outdoor design, located just a short walk from a small beach along the Eriese. Overall, it's a wonderful place to dine. I must also mention their bread pudding—it's unlike anything you've ever had and is a must-try after a great meal. Highly recommended!

Great enemy. I had a great meal here. This is a nice family remnant who should not be overlooked. Staff and food were of exceptional quality. The Prime Rib is from this world.
