Winners Fish And Chips

I am glad that I only ordered a tray of fries from this restaurant. I would have gotten more if the prices were more reasonable. Paying £5.50 for a small portion of fish and chips seemed expensive, especially when compared to other lunch specials in the neighborhood. The fries I received were not cooked properly. The man overcharged me compared to what was listed on his menu board. On top of that, he put so much salt on the fries that I couldn't even eat them. I won't be returning to this restaurant.

Really poor to be fair, called in as was passing through and peckish. Opted for small fish and chips, chips almost raw and anemic, fish was fresh cooked had to wait which was no issue but the batter was soggy and also undercooked. Asked to put my own Salt and vinegar on and you would have thought I was asking for the earth! Price £5.50, gave them a tenner to get £4.20 back queried this and it was because they gave me a wooden fork, I won't be returning anytime soon if ever, shame as they have some ok reviews so I guess them folk will eat any garbage.

The food from this fish and chip shop is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced.

Winner's Fish and Chips is fantastic! I have been a loyal customer for over 40 years and have never been let down. I highly recommend this fish and chip shop.

Chips undercooked, once unwrapped, it looked like a bag of mashed potato. Fish batter soggy, wet and went in the bin. Large sausages had been cooked and left in the top box for far too long. My grandchild literally couldn't bite through it. Shop had 6 people in and owner was super stressed and super rude. Definitely not a winner for me.
