The Comfy Duck

Terrible, last week. always loved eating in more comfortable escape, but it was terrible. 3 of us asked the waitress to ask the cook to check the filetsteaks, as they had the worst taste and smell.

The service at this restaurant was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The menu had a good selection, but the presentation and overall dining experience did not seem to justify the price. It felt like it may have been a line cook rather than a trained chef in the kitchen, especially since it was a midweek evening with few diners. I may give it another try to see if it was just an off day.

I have visited this restaurant a few times in the past and thought it was really good. However, since it has been recently taken over, the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The food was decent, but it would have been much better if it had been served hot instead of lukewarm. I would still recommend this place because the food was delicious, even though it was served cold.

A charming location with delicious food and excellent service. Definitely worth a visit.

We have been to comfy duck on several occasions and by far was my favourite restaurant to eat at. We had heard it had different chefs now but was not expecting the food to be so bad. Me and my husband were so disappointed, the food came out just warm no presentation it was just thrown on the plate, my main dish tasted no better then a microwave meal. For £70 this should be something special, you can get the same food that actually tastes better in the sizzler pub for alot less then we paid. We will definitely not be returning. Such a shame to let this place go so down hill.
