Back again for fosh and chips.d. they are the best you can get this side of whitby. Cooked to order the fish is soft and fluffy with a crunchy batter. Only one negative ...theres always a queue. View all feedback.
What Chatterboxmegan doesn't like about Wessington Village Chippy:
We were stopping at Crich Lane Farm B&B so decided to pop in for our tea one night. We opted for a small sausage chips and gravy and a small chips large fish and mushy peas. The bill come to just over £10. Once ordered you wait outside until called. All the food was very tasty. View all feedback.
The best fish and chips I have tasted for a long time. fresh white hot fish in a beautiful crispy teig and crispy sprinkle with a soft and fluffy inner. When they go to matlock for the next time, forget about the search for a parking space and a long wait for mediochre to dine, they call in wessington on their way to home.
The best fish and chips in this area freshly cooked, pure white fish, crispy teig and taste delicious friendly team xxx
I bought haddock chips on the way back from wee dram whisky solid in bakewell on Saturday night the best piece of fish I had for a long time. Crisp battery with crisp, delicate haddock underneath. chips were so, but not distracted from the main court. a great sound!
For many years here for fish and chips, and all I can say is iw is never better everywhere iw, used to the magpie at whitby and wessington chippy is far superior
Probably Derbyshire's finest fish n chips. Always fresh and tasty worth every penny!
