large caffe in the corner of the mwdian center gosforth. compact, clean and welcoming served the snug coffee, tees, friappe and a selection of cold drinks with bagels, brioche, sandwiches and jacket potatoes. I had the thunfish mayo on brioche, the missus ahun and speck panni. both were very well prepared and presented with high-quality, fresh ingredients. View all feedback.
We stumbled upon a hidden gem! Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, this charming café is a delightful find. The decor is lovely, the seating is comfortable, and there is even a designated area for kids to play, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They offer a wide selection of coffees and teas, and the cakes are simply fantastic! Our meal of a scrumptious jacket potato with cheese and beans, accompanied by a fresh salad, was followed by a generous slice of delicious coffee cake. We will certainly be returning for more.
I visit on almost a weekly basis since they have opened and haven't been disappointed yet! Food is fantastic and staff are friendly and cheerful. I personally recommend the club sandwich and any of the home made cakes.
This was my second time here as I had previously been in with friends for coffee and that had been good. However the.panini I had with a different friend I took for lunch was very average and lacked filling .The price indicated a decent helping but it was disappointing for both of us so perhaps we should have stuck to cake and coffee
Visit at least three times a week for coffee, cakes and lunches. Often with, family, friends and sometimes solo. The food is of an excellent quality, all homemade and plentiful. The proprietor is very skilled in making the most amazing and delicious cakes, biscuits etc.The Snug is very welcoming and inviting and nothing is too much trouble. The staff are super with children there are plenty of toys and books to amuse the little ones.I feel hugely valued as a customer, the staff are always cheerful and spend time with you if you're alone. There is a lovely family atmosphere. They have enriched the social life of the community hugely and long may it continue. The opening times accommodate customers meal times throughout the day. They are prepared to extend their opening hours to cater for private parties.I cannot recommend The Snug enough. Dronfield is very lucky to have The Snug that is also easy to find with plenty of parking.
I've been to The Snug quite a few times now with friends and family and found the cakes to be consistently delicious with plenty of choice. The coffee is good also. The café itself is lovely and I have always found it to be clean no matter how busy it was. The staff are friendly and very helpful and there is free parking adjacent.
