We waited for an hour for our food, but when it finally arrived, the "creamy mash" was just warm and overcooked, the broccoli was cold, and the pie was lukewarm in the center. The waitress quickly checked if our meals were okay but left before we could respond. Overall, it was not a good experience. View all feedback.
I visited the restaurant yesterday for another delicious meal. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning soon.
This place is run down the food is shocking! The service was very slow everyone was complaining! It's only redeeming feature is free parking a great view over the lido.
Excellent pub and restaurant, called in Sunday dinner,had the traditional Sunday turkey roast followed by Eton mess and washed down with a Pint of Guinness,paradise,better than any lottery win,100% recommend.

We visited The Smithy Pond today on 29/01/2024 at 2:10pm. It was not very crowded. We ordered from the senior meal deal menu. Unfortunately, my wife had the hunter's chicken and it was very disappointing. The portion was small and the chicken was undercooked. This was the worst meal we have ever had at this restaurant, and we used to come here regularly. It will be a while before we decide to dine here again.
