The food here was good with extremely generous portions (the 'lighter portions ' options are about the size of a normal meal elsewhere! , though the cask beers were sadly quite vinegary, like they needed a bit of flushing through. Dog-friendly and nice atmosphere.
Food was excellent. Can thoroughly recommend the Steak Blue Cheese pie, it's melt in the mouth. Service was friendly and good. Shame the Pub was quiet for a Saturday night, don't understand why.
Awesome staff pints filled to the top my type of pub
Landlady and staff very friendly and helpful. Food portions massive and very tasty.
Nice place, nice beer, good food, efficient and friendly staff. BUT, management seem unable to appreciate that smokers smoking IN THE DOORWAY is really, really, really annoying and off-putting.
