I have eaten here many paints in the run of the years, and have always enjoyed my meals, it has changed for better from my first visit, as it is American themes, the hot meals are very good and they do not skip to part, there is much to choose, and it often changes, the glooms are also very good, this is house style cooking, so for the bad commentary of some people. What MagsofWoodland doesn't like about Pit Stop:
Trying to find the best fry in Bangor we thought we’d try the Pit Stop. It certainly wasn’t here anyway! On ordering we asked if we could have our tea at time our fry was ready. We were abruptly told we’d have to go back up and get it ourselves? When the fry arrived it didn’t look very appetizing. To start with the fried egg was hard and cold. I think it may have been cooked earlier! The rest of the food on the plate... View all feedback.
The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The service was quick. However, once again, the owner was seen walking around and forgot to greet his customers. Come on, man, give us a smile! Even if you don't know us, it would be nice to say hello.
If your in a hurry this is the place for you, my food was microwaved and I am not a fan of this type of food , it was alright
Called for a meal midweek, just after 6pm. Only a few tasteless looking bits and pieces on offer at the servery. Chose from what they call the “All Day Menu” only to be told it was only for breakfast time. Made a second choice from the same menu (All Day) with the same result. Staff member was disinterested, unhelpful and somewhat rude in that she had nothing to say about what was available. We ate elsewhere and will do in future!
A few weeks ago, we enjoyed a Sunday carvery at this restaurant. The food was deliciously cooked and served hot at our table. It's best to arrive early as it tends to get very busy around 1-1.30.

I think it may have been cooked earlier! The rest of the food on the plate wasn’t very warm either. The tea was hot! A bonus!! I’ve just read some other reviews and I can relate to them. We didn’t enjoy our experience and we won’t be back.
