The order was on the board and the older lady started to shout at the you... read more I ordered online to collect at 5pm, told there was no order in my name when I arrived. The order was on the board and the older lady started to shout at the young girls asking if they thought she need this today. They opened at 5 and had no chips cooked. She continued to be rude to the girls who were trying their best to help her (I’m surprised none of them cried). She was belittling an older man who she was training to fry. A man asked how long his food would be, we had all been waiting 30 minutes by this point and she said ‘we had no chips ready when we opened so you are just going to have to wait’ I was told I could only wait outside if my food wasn’t ready. The food was disgusting and far to greasy, the service from the older lady was shocking to both her staff and customers. I would say it is worth a visit to witness this hag at work, I’m not sure anyone would believe it without seeing it with their own eyes. I really wish I had pulled her up on how she was talking to the young girls. They were lovely and polite and I’m sure could easily find a better working environment elsewhere! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

I paid nearly £50.00 for myself and my family, only to return home and throw everything straight in the bin. I am 56 and have never had to throw food away like this before, it was truly revolting. This fish was tiny and floating in oil with soggy batter. The chips were stone cold and like hard rubber. I 'm sure they were days old. The chicken burgers were a joke, stale rolls no salad or sauces and again floating in grease. This ' 'food ' ' was repulsive muck. Avoid this place like the plague. You deserve to be shut down!

The best thing is you can drive home with it on the car seat and be confident there won't be a greasy patch left behind where grease has leaked out of the packaging. I can highly recommend the click and collect as the food is always freshly cooked piping hot and always ready on time.

While I was there, I witnessed one of the older female employees yelling at a younger staff member. The younger woman seemed really embarrassed and on the verge of tears. I'm not exactly sure what the issue was, but it appeared to be a case of bullying. Reading previous reviews, I suspect that this same older woman may have a history of mistreating employees.
