Called in for refreshments after a long-ish walk, having been disappointed to find it closed earlier in the week. They currently only open on Fridays and Saturdays. I had a cream tea, the scone was warm and fresh, and the tea was lovely. My wife enjoyed her ice cream too. We were served by lovely friendly staff, and enjoyed the beautiful gardens. The cottage and cottage garden are absolutely wonderful, making for the perfect location for lunch or afternoon tea. The food is all freshly cooked and prepared each day. I tried the roasted vegetable salad and it was one of the best I've ever had. The menu is simple but executed excellently. The restaurant is operated by friendly and helpful volunteers from Lee Abbey. I've already been there twice this holiday, but I know I'll be able to fit in more visits!
The restaurant greeted us warmly with China teacups and a beautiful tea garden. Their scones were perfect, with a glaze on top, a good size, moist, and very tasty. It was the best cream tea we've ever had!
We had a delightful experience enjoying cream tea in a charming garden. It was a lovely surprise during our coastal stroll. The staff was welcoming, and the scones were served on elegant china.

This is a lovely little tea room with a pretty garden to sit in, a little pricey but not too bad, lovely atmosphere here
