We went this evening booked under the name Warren starters chowder and the mussels were fantastic my wife’s lamb tagine was ok I had rack of ribs the worst food I have had the pleasure of paying for membrane on rear not barbecue but a barbecue sauce for dipping on side the ribs made Aldi look 5star .Waitress asked what I thought when I said the ribs were worse than something you can microwave at Tesco she grinned and... Very disappointed with the restaurant, we had booked as our last holiday evening out and wanted to make it special, we would definitely not return as the food was below average and particularly bland Vegetarian options: No vegetarian starters apart from a serving platter Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Been holidaying in Croyde for over 15 years, this was our first time at Hobbs, The food was delicious, good quality and reasonably priced. The staff were very professional and friendly will definitely be returning Vegetarian options: I was happy with the selection Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Just got back from a fabulous meal at Hobb’s Bistro- it’s our final night away and thought it was time to try something new as we have been to Croyde many times over the years but never tried the bistro. The food was absolutely fantastic, fresh and flavoursome, the team were so lovely and friendly, the perfect atmosphere (especially for us with a 4 week old) they were super accommodating with the buggy and we had plenty of room. Both myself and my husband said that this was our favourite meal of our time away! We will definitely be returning and bringing the rest of the family too- thank you!
Came here on our first night in Croyde and had a brilliant meal here last Sunday. Shame to see some mixed reviews on here we couldn’t fault it! The food was brilliant and we were pleased with the service and value, too. Would definitely recommend it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My meal was fabulous but some of our party weren't quite as happy. But the service was excellent.

Excellent menu, for adult and children menu. Our 2 youngs loved the cuddles. really good value for money and beautiful restaurant. are looking forward to a new visit.
Lorain always gives them a warm welcome. eating is better than excellent. the service is perfect. would recommend this restaurant to all who come to croyde
Last week we had a fabulous experience in the hobbs bistro. I booked and was glad that I had when we showed up and realized that there are not many tables in the restaurant. but in the rule, the less the tables tend to eat the better (in my opinion). the atmosphere was good and the decor was beautiful. the personal was friendly and our server was very friendly, service with a smile! eating was very good, especially the black pudding with chorizo and mozzarella! (picture) I had nothing like it before, but it worked so well! definitely would return here and recommend it to everyone!
