My group ate breakfast here this morning (September 12, 2020) and found it to be good to high quality for a higher price than I would normally pay for pancakes and a breakfast burrito but it was well worth it for the convenience of not having to leave the resort for breakfast. What GypsySoul7 ?GypsySoul7? doesn't like about Champney's:
To start, our waitress provided all the teenagers with toddler-sized cups, which they quickly finished in one gulp. She promised to bring them regular-sized glasses but never returned. An entire hour passed without her checking in on us for drink refills, and it took over an hour to receive our food.

The restaurant was decent overall. My wife ordered the haddock, and she enjoyed it. We also had breakfast, which was satisfactory. However, I strongly advise avoiding the takeout window near the water park. We ordered three hot dog baskets, some pretzels that were nearly inedible, a strawberry slushy (which was the best item we had), and a fruit plate, all for a total of $65. Unfortunately, the hot dogs were disappointing. It seemed like the man at the counter was handling everything while the two girls were just chatting. I wouldn’t recommend eating here.
I experienced a long wait for below-average service. The prices were high for food that was just mediocre. The only redeeming quality was the pleasant view!

We had ordered an appetizer, but it arrived with our main dishes instead of before. When it came time to pay, it took her another 20 minutes to bring back our debit card. Due to this experience, we will not be returning. Instead, we decided to order pizza downstairs the next night, and we had an excellent waitress there!
