Red Crab Juicy Seafood

My oysters were great and my server was excellent. Server def awarded them the 3 stars, but also because we got fried seafood baskets. The Boiled seafood was so expensive! No doubt costs have gone up, but it was def much higher than where I'm from (also on east coast). Way too much French fries with the order, but would be perfect for kids sharing a basket. Tarter sauce was a little vinegar-y and def could use some more pickles. Hush puppies were good. My suggestion is get a fried basket with $1 onion rings side instead of ordering onion ring app. It's a lot of food to order both. Other than that, the staff is lovely!! Just to add since I can't reply, I would def go back now that I know what to order. I know costs are high, but like I said the food was yum and the staff was fantastic!!

Being that I've lived in the port city all of my life seafood is a natural choice for me. I can still be very critical of my choice of seafood being that when it comes to seafood there's an unlimited choice but the Red Crab stands out. The atmosphere was very much galley like with the service by the staff very hospitality friendly. We meaning me and my wife and some dear friends of ours all enjoyed our meals. Dru was our server and she went above and beyond to help us out. Of course the food was very good and pleasing with me ordering a shrimp basket with an Arnold Palmer for my beverage. So if you're in the North Charleston area by chance and looking for a good place that's easy on the budget I'd highly recommend this place.

So my cousin and I decided to go out of our way traveling back to Columbia from Daytona to test out this restaurant....we were quite iffy about trying since it was quite a few mixed reviews online but we were so glad we did not listen because this food was so good to us that night. We had great food and service so regardless of what others might say we will definitely be going back. They have multiple daily specials and while you may not do any substitutions you can add to the special. To each its own but I say test it out for yourself many of the reviews we read was definitely not what we experienced.

The food is delicious! I ordered the family platter with the Juicy Special seasoning. If you are a corn lover I recommend ordering extra. Our server was very accommodating even when people in our party needed extra attention. The only reason for 4 stars instead 5, the smell of sewage (not feces, but sewage) was strong. First time ever, the service was wonderful, we had an excellent server I don't remember her name she had her hair pulled back in one with a small pin up. The food was excellent, very clean restaurant. Don't judge it by the parking lot it needs some work. I would definitely visit this establishment again. EXCELLENT JOB! Thanks.
