We love El Caporal! The food is good and consistent. The salsa is made in house and it's always fun to see what each batch tastes like. To clarify, it is always delicious, but the spiciness varies. We just love it. Jose, Jovita (adore her), and Elizabeth are wonderfully kind and welcoming. The restaurant is very clean, and I've heard the kitchen is as clean as the front of the house. We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon, it was not very busy, but it was unclear if they were shortstaffed as we never got our refills nor did they check up on us after we got our meals. The food however, was delicious and tasty. View all feedback.

I ordered the Chile Relleno, and it was light and delicious. My husband had a chicken salad, which came with plenty of chicken in a crispy tortilla—no beans at the bottom, which was perfect since he doesn't like beans. Our total for both meals was $25, and we just had water. The waiter was friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a great dining experience for lunch.
