JT's sushi is never a disappointment, they have a really great selection and I've been going at least twice a month for the last couple of years and I still havnt tried everything on their menu! There is so much selection! I think this may...be a family run business and you can tell the owners put a lot of heart and soul into what they do! This is also the only place to get beef sashimi in town! It just melts in your... View all feedback.
What Соња Бусанчић doesn't like about J T Sushi:
We tried different dishes, take away. Every dish was average. The stand out was the Pad Thai, it was bright orange. So sauce came out of a bottle and was super sweet, no heat at all. I personal wouldn't buy from here again. View all feedback.
Food is ok, service is plentiful, and usually fast. The best spot in North Bay for sushi. Place is always busy no reservations required.
Worth the traffic getting here. Friendly, attentive staff & food at a reasonable price point. I have been to this location several times and will continue to return when I'm in North Bay.
Well I do too. Especially when you bring a group of friends. Now lets break down exactly what happens when you eat at the so called "All you can eat", J T Sushi. You get a large paper menu for the whole table in which you mark next to the dish you want how many servings/plates you would like of that dish. Then you give it to a young server who takes it to the kitchen... This is the point where it is all down hill. You can now sit and wait while your food is prepared brought out and delivered to another table. Oh but it gets better after 40 minutes of waiting you then get someone else's order, so you figure at this point hey all you can eat I'll re-order and actually get what i asked for... Haha you are joking right? Now you get another 20 minute wait of which the servers ignore you even if you actually put your hand in the air like a 5th grader in Math. But hey good news for you eventually they fold and actually server you while rolling their eyes snatching the sheet from your hand dropping it at the kitchen and bringing back the wrong food again in 40 minutes. By this point your group is probably thinking the same as mine, lets just hit up Wendy's on the way out of here and you go to pay.But wait rewind did you eat all of the food you were served? Including the food you didn't order but got brought anyway (and informed them of on multiple occasions). Because if you didn't there's a fee for that not to mention for 4 people you're looking at $100, but an actual charge for food you didn't order because you didn't eat it. Well after arguing the bill eventually you get to just pay the regular price but don't worry if ever you go back and they remember you they just make the wait times longer and speak Mandarin rather then English. All in all 1/10. Terrible food, terrible service, terrible pricing, terrible hosts. TERRIBLE!
This is by far my favorite sushi restaurant, and I've been to several. For the most part, the food is great, but the odd time the mangos aren't rip yet, or the chicken is overcooked. The service has definitely gone downhill though... We asked one of the waiters for a refill and he told us to ask someone else and walked away. I ended up going to the counter myself and when I told them what happened, they didn't seem to care. It's unfortunate.
Mothers Day take out for a new mom consisted of onions as the veggies in the shrimp and beef lunch box's, yuck ! No veggies or no effort ??? Not sure, have had take out from here before and enjoyed it.
