This restaurant offers the best prices, excellent old-fashioned service, and friendly staff. You don't even have to leave your car - they pump your gas and bring the card reader right to you. I will always make a point to stop here whenever I am in the area. View all feedback.
What Pierfrancesco Grasso doesn't like about Eagles Nest Chip Stand & Gas:
I recently visited Eagles Nest Gas Bar and was extremely disappointed. I went there to fill up my gas tank and purchase a carton of cigarettes, but was scolded for not paying for my gas outside first. From now on, customers are required to make separate transactions for gas and any other items purchased inside the store. This new policy is time consuming and incurs additional banking fees. I've never met friendlier people! The gas and smokes are the cheapest around. Always smiling. I can't believe the difference with the recent renovations. I would definitely recommend this one stop shop to everyone!
Free beans (really good beans) and Blue Bell Ice Cream with every meal.
Our party of 3 just walked out of this establishment and won't return.
If you are in Tyler and are looking for a good old fashioned country meal, this place is for you.
Although the chip truck was unfortunately closed, we found the area to be a great spot for browsing with a variety of interesting merchandise, including Native crafts and food. We're looking forward to visiting again next time we're in the area and hoping that the chip truck will be open. We've heard that their fries are delicious and can't wait to try them.
