We had a dinner here while we were in Restoule. Everything was delicious with huge portions. My husband and I both ordered fish and chips, it came with coleslaw. Our teenager order a poutine. That came with three different cheeses. It said it was the best. Don't forget to have ice cream on your way out! View all feedback.
What Francisco Javier Girón doesn't like about Crows Nest Lodge:
The food is good, BUT... service was pretty slow considering there were only 4 tables occupied. And this guy (I assume the owner) was standing at a table of guests he obviously knew, talking very loudly about everything you could imagine, including bad mouthing other...local businesses. It was like he wanted everyone else to hear this. Very unprofessional and for this reason alone I will never go back. View all feedback.
Casual atmosphere with great burgers. Kids loved the chicken fingers and ice cream too. Easy place to stop for lunch on a trip into town while away at the cottage.
This was a great little spot! It is, as I mentioned, off the beaten path. This little place was recommended to us after we had made a wrong turn into a "no longer resort" location...They were nice people who told us about The Crow's Nest. Now,I just want to tell you, there's nothing around you other than a Provincial Park a few miles down the road and an "everything in one" General Store.....Seriously!As for the restsurant, It was great. The food was very good. The menu had everything from Starters to Salads; Burgers, Hot Sanwhiches, Wings, Pasta, to Entrees of fresh fish (pickeral), steak, pork chops, parmesans and schnitzel.Very reasonably priced, friendly owners and a great cook that uses "secret" home made family recipies! Very clean, family oriented place.
Last week my wife and I had the pleasure of spending three great days/nights at the Crow’s Nest in Restoule, ON while snowmobiling in the area. Laura, Mike and the rest of the staff were awesome hosts. The food was amazing and the hospitality first class. The pickerel dinner was to die for and my wife raved about the liver. We will be back again. Thank you.
The Crows Nest is tucked away but once you get there it is quite enjoyable. My husband took the snowmobile over and I drove to meet him for lunch. We only ordered a few appetizers but they arrived steaming hot and very well done. The hosts were welcoming and interacted with all the people in the building.
Great experience! Mike and Laura took care of us like we were family. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The first night we did not think we would be back in time for supper so they made us wings and salad. Laura also made us some roast beef sandwiches for the next day since we wanted to leave before they opened. All the food was excellent from pan fried fish to home made apple crisp pie. Mike took the time to ensure we knew which snowmobile trails were open and made suggestions for our daily trips. I would definitely recommend this place whether your stopping in for a meal or staying over night!
