Ive dined here on a few occasions, some good, some bad but this time was amazing. I sat at the bar and the bartender was phenomenal. You could tell she enjoyed her job and the people who came to eat here, Relaxed yet fun environment,...yummy food and don't forget the deep fried Butter tart (you have to try it) I will definitely be back, thank you for a much improved experience. Had dinner with two other couples at the beginning of March 2022. Food was overpriced and not worth somewhere near what they calculate. French fries were so overcooked that they were hard to eat. (food). The main rib was o.k, but I think they think thick Gravy... is au jus, how should the main rib accompany and was advertised to come along. For $45 you'd think they'd know the difference. This place was recommended to us by a friend while we were at the cottage. We drove over an hour and it was totally worth it. Craft beer and the food was delicious not to mention the service was fabulous. I had fish tacos and my husband had the Cecil burger, and as an appetizer we had bacon wrapped steak, probably the best app I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the north Bay Area
The title says it all! I visited this place recently on a visit to North Bay. The ambience is good, the seating ample with a great outdoor patio. Without going into great detail, I was asked to leave premises, which I gladly did.
We had a pretty good time here while visiting North Bay. We had tried to get into another restaurant but the wait was too long so we were pleased to see the size of Cecil's and had no trouble getting a table.I was looking for some pickerel and ordered some. It was pretty good. Ordered a flight of their beers as well. Again pretty good. Not overwhelming.It was a good atmosphere and the service was good.
Went for dinner on a Saturday night. Only few tables occupied, but it was in July. Waiter took long and seemed to be tired. Was very friendly though and gave us some nice tips about North Bay. Food was very mediocre. My bar plate had a lot of creasy fried stuff but maybe that's how it's supposed to be?
Didn't order any food. Went to the bar to order for some bald headed bartender to tell me i need to move because people were sitting where I was standing. Quite the attitude or his head is too big of cockiness. Your wheat beer is garbage. It tastes like Lake Ontario water. Maybe you should lower your prices. Your competition sells their beer for at least two dollars cheaper. You lost on two drinks due to this guys attitude from my group. We would have stayed and tried more of your beers however another place was calling my name with better service.
