Burger World - North Bay

Three of us went to this place on a Saturday after the main meal. Obviously it was popular as the parking lot was quite full and there was a waiting period of at least 20 minutes to get a table. However, tables...for 2 were better available as some couples that came after us got a table before we did. this place is quite crowded and a bit loud, but that was probably at least partly due to the lunchtime on Saturday. the employees were very efficient and accommodating as soon as we got our table. all three of us have the full-day breakfast, which is always popular here. the food was nicely made, quite tasty and cheap. would we go back? absolutely, although I could try to choose a little quieter time.

Simple food, good service, clean and reasonable prices. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All day dinner.

We visit this location every time we travel through North Bay. The building is clean, the parking lot is well kept and the staff is super friendly. Then you add in that the food is amazing and homemade, and it comes out of the kitchen...really quick, that you couldn's ask for a better place to eat.

We came in for dinner, ordered the Special steak and shrimp, which included appy, entree and dessert. We were asked the usual questions, how do you like your steak? Would you like mashed, baked or fries for potatoes, would you like mixed vegetables or coleslaw?...We all answered our choices, I asked for gravy on my mashed potatoes. We received our meals, mine did not have the gravy, she claimed I never asked for it, when I clearly did, she asked if I wanted two containers, I said one. When I received the bill I was charged $1.69 for a ketchup cup of gravy, was never told that it was extra. When it was time for dessert, she asked if we wanted pie or butter tart. I chose the butter tart, of course, my son choose pie, she asked if he would like ice-cream for $2 more, he no thank you. My tart was thrown on a plate, cold and uninviting. I had also asked for a bowl of ice-cream for the little ones to share, she brought it in one bowl with 2 spoons...how were they going to share this when they were clearly sitting on opposite ends of the table? Not impressed, with service, food was okay.

Periodically, we go with friends on a breakfast/brunch quest. That's what brought us to this location of Burger World.Today, I enjoyed the breakfast special - two eggs, potatoes, beans, toast, peameal bacon and coffee, all for $6.99. When it arrived, it was totally perfect. Great value, indeed.We were also lucky to get a server who was the right combination of speedy, friendly and witty. She helped to make it a positive experience.
