Contribute FeedbackThe Home pub/restaurant received mixed reviews from customers. Some found the food to be basic and service lacking, with issues like dirty menus and salty food. Others, however, praised the establishment for its fantastic service, accommodating specific dietary requirements, and delicious meals. The atmosphere was noted to be pleasant and comfortable, with the set menu offering great value. While there were complaints about long wait times for meals, overall, the Home was recommended as a welcoming and enjoyable place to dine.
I had the beef burger it was really poor quality served with a salad that was by it's best and over salted chips. So bad to see this place decline!
We went for lunch and were disappointed with our experience. The high chair given to us was dirty and broken. The food was not good at all. I ordered a steak baguette which was covered in a terrible Bisto gravy. The chicken burger was dry and practically inedible. When we mentioned to the staff that the food was awful, they did not offer a discount or a replacement. We will not be returning to this restaurant. Disappointing!
The experience was very disappointing. The lasagne tasted like chunks of ground beef in a tomato sauce topped with greasy cheddar cheese. The garlic bread was only grilled on one side and the chips were lukewarm. The table was dirty and the menu was printed on a stained sheet of A4 paper. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
Popped in for a lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed my burger. My wife opted for vegetable fajitas which were fine if a little plain. Staff were really friendly and service was quick too.
Visited for lunch. Food was OK the cajun chicken was not marinated the cajun spice was just lumped unevenly on top of the chicken. Menu choices were quite limited. Tables were sticky and the menu was dirty. My husband got a burger which wasn't great. Overall I would rush back anytime soon.
