What Scot in Scotland doesn't like about Cafe At The Station:
Drop in for lunch after walking along the beach from Ardrossan to Saltcoats. The member of staff working behind the counter was cheerful, didn't stop serving, clearing tables and tidying behind the counter tops for a second. The tables and floor were spotless. The soup and a sandwich were average but the sandwiches were freshly made so that's a real plus. The basin size cup of coffee was enjoyable. Alas we missed out... View all feedback. read moreThe cafe, located right by the beach, offers a mix of average food but delightful coffee and freshly made sandwiches. The friendly staff keep the place spotless, making it a welcoming spot. However, some visitors complained about unpleasant smells and rude service. Overall, the cafe provides a warm and friendly atmosphere, serving as a social hub for locals and visitors alike. With a wide selection of delicious cakes and a focus on customer satisfaction, the cafe at the station is a must-visit spot with a lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, and activities for children.
