The staff are great. The food is good standard Adelaide pub food. We went on a quiet Easter Monday night, so it would be difficult to grade the atmosphere on a normal night. It's a beautiful looking pub, though that was comfortable and accommodating. View all feedback.

Unfortunately The British Hotel is always a slight let down when we go however, I continue to persist. The staff are always ultra friendly and accommodating and it is cosy - particularly in winter. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member and all other staff we interacted with were equally friendly. All of our meals were excellent too. We will definitely be back!
Having read some previous reviews, was not expecting anything great. I was in a group booking for a Saturday lunch and could not fault the service or the food. Drinks were ordered at the bar and promptly served. The meal order processed without incident for our table of 10+. The staff were friendly and efficient. My order was kangaroo fillet from the special menu, the kangaroo was cooked perfectly and the flavour of the jus was one of the best I have tasted. When in a larger group, being able to pay your bill individually is a bonus, and this is an option at the British. Would happily return.
